I'm still alive

Long time no update.

Always the same thing, the same work, nothing much, nothing special, but something happened to me recently. I don't want to talk more about that. Maybe I'll do later but not now. I think I've never been so scared, never felt so lost in my life. There's still something left I have to do to get over this situation. I just hope everything will be fine.

My parents will come home tomorrow evening. I think they've just gotten in the airplane from Frankfurt, Germany. I'll go to Incheon International Airport to see them.

My brother left home last Thursday for a 9-day-trip around North-east China and Inner Mongolia.

It's so weird to be alone at home while all of my family are gone abroad.
I find out that to stay home alone is hundred times harder than to travel abroad by myself. I'm so sorry to my parents that I didn't call them often while I was on my way. Now I understand how much I owe to my parents, to my family.

The rainy season is over since last weekend, and now it's very very sunny and clear(even at night the sky is soooooooooo blue), but also very hot during the day. I'm happy that I live in Seoul and not somewhere in Kyoungsang province[경상도], like Daegu[대구] or Pohang[포항], where the temperature goes up to 35 degrees in summer. Except in the afternoon, it's not so unbearably hot so far.

I decided to quit my part time job that I've been doing more than a year. Yes, it has to do with the 'accident' I had recently, otherwise I'd keep working even though I've been always thinking about how to switch to something else. I applied for the job as an assistant at my university this morning. Working hours are from 9am to 5pm, not very 'ideal' for a part time job, but I'll get the money to pay the tuition for the next semester. And that's still one of the best way to get paid and to study at the same time. Dont' know whether they let me do it or not. (Wish me good luck!)

Hi, Song,
Hope things are better now.
I believe that all things happen for a reason. It may seem terrible now... but it's only years down the road that we understand why it happened.

Anyway, hope you get the job you want ; )

Thank you so much, Sandy:)
I'm still waiting for the last thing that I need to overcome.

Song, don't know what happened to you. But remember we're all here wishing you could overcome the "last thing".

Good luck.
