Sunrise from Tiger Hill

Tiger Hill is one of the most famous tourist spot around Darjeeling, and you should not miss the sunrise from there. There is an observatory platform where you can get in after paying for the entrance ticket. (Yes, very touristic. They even serve hot tea.)

Luckily, the weather cleared up that morning. I wondered whether I would ever have a chance to see the mountains in Darjeeling during my stay. (It was still cloudy in the town, though.)
