I didn't know that German could have the same problem in distinguishing the 's' sound and 'th' sound like Korean.
PS. An important notice for Korean travelling to North China, South-East Asia, Nepal, etc: never talk loudly in Korean about the local, and be careful especially when talking about something critical. Some local people may understand what you're talking about. Coz not a few locals could have been in Korea for years before.
(One reason for why I sometimes feel sorry for English native speakers: they have no secret.)
