The second day was even colder than the first day.
This photo shows me at Danggol Square in the morning.
Can You see the temperature? It's -14 degree.
And I guess it was nearly -20 at Munsubong and Cheonjedan.
On the way to Munsubong(Munsu peak).
'눈꽃(snow on the branches)', on the way from Munsubong to Cheonjedan.
The snow-capped scenery which is often showed on newspaper and magazines are mostly taken at Mt. Taebaek.
On the summit - 1,567m above sea level.
Yew trees.

28 Dec was also the coldest day in Shanghai. Temp hit 0 degC at night.
The name "Mt. Taebaek" is so apt. "Very white mountain" if I translate it literally. The mountain definitely looks very white =)
Yes, 28th was also the day when the temperature dropped in Seoul. (The weather broadcast on tv reported that).
"Very white mountain" - I've never thought about its literal meaning, but it sounds correct according to the Chinese translation:)
와! 너무 너무 에쁜다.
Will there still be snow in Mt Taebaek in March? I'm planning a 10-14 days free and easy trip. Can't wait... wish I'm there now : (
In March... well, I'm not quite sure about that. Sorry:)
Which places do you want to visit this time?
My friend and I have not decided. At the moment, we are thinking of Seoul, Jeonju,Jeju-do, Pusan, Jihae, Andong and Seoraksan.
But we'll probably have to shortlist again. I think there are too many places for 2 weeks : (
