Typing Japanese

(From Amy's blog.)

Foreigners studying Korean probably have the same feeling when they just start to learn how to type Korean.

For me, the Hiragana and Katakana are both something hard to memorize - I can't understand how the Japanese can make it!

True, true...

Lately I needed 15 minutes for typing 3 simple korean sentences on the keyboard. And I don't want to talk about the tortures of writing SMS in korean!!!

ㅋㅋ.....맞아요 sca 씨....저도 이렇게 생각해요.

When I first studied Korean, I was so confused between the Japanese 예 meaning no and the Korean 예 meaning yes. That's just one.

what about the Korean ㅁ and the japanese ㅁ....So, I totally wiped off any remaining japanese in my brain and concentrated on Korean..... and yes, still took me a few minutes to type a sentence. ㅋㅋ

To sca: your new profile photo is cool! Taken at your classroom in KU? ^^
Oh, and what a surprise that you even can send SMS in Korean! To your students? Keep practicing:)

To Aini: I guess you got much help from your Japanese while learning Korean, such as the structure or some vocabularies.
But don't put them all together, coz just as you said, it can become very confusing sometimes:)
