Two of my Singaporean friends have posted an article about Korean dramas and men recently. To be exactly, one friend has posted about men in Korean TV dramas, and another friend has posted about what men think about Korean TV dramas.
I don't think that the two had talked about this topic each other before they posted their articles, but anyway, it seems that they are both related to the question "Why are women crazy(?) for Korean TV dramas, while men don't understand them?".
The answer is very simple: women love those characters in dramas(what a friend of mine has described as 'Chocolate Brownies'). But unfortunatley, such Chocolate Brownies rarely exist in the reality, and men feel so much burden to fulfill their girlfriend's (or wife's) wishes, so they don't like those dramas.
There's one thing that I use to tell my foreign friends: "Dramas are just dramas! Forget all about the romance that happens there."
(Btw Aini, I must say that it's such a creative idea to associate men with chocolate brownie. I've never thought about that idea.)

ㅋㅋ...interestingly, it's the non-Korean women who are going goo-goo-ga-ga over the Korean men.
I wonder what do Korean women think about these men in the dramas? Maybe I should blog about that.
What Korean women think about these men in the dramas? As I said, "드라마는 드라마고, 현실은 현실이다" - drama is drama and reality is reality. My opinion, you know:)
맞아...맞아....
