Aini's discovery

Never believe only what you've seen, coz there could be something more, something new, something different on the other side of this world.

You may be amazed how different things can be.

So was Aini, my Singaporean friend, when she saw this kind of maize for the first time in her life.

(Check out her words about that.)

I remember that I had a similiar experience just after I returned to Korea after having been in Germany.

"Wow~ The eggs here(in Korea) are not white but brownish!"

A great discovery in my childhood.

Two years ago, I was amazed again - this time at the scenery I caught in the Himalaya, in Nepal.

Chickens are not yellow, but have a very diverse color - white and yellow with brown and black spots.

So small and cute.

Another discovery.

Again, the world is amazing.

Don't miss those discoveries.

*Update

We have black chickens in Korea too. How cute~~~

Ha Ha...true true.

Being urbanites, I remember my daughter's first trip to a Malaysian village (she was 2,then). It was her first encounter with a live chicken.

In Singapore, the chicken that we see come on a plate, served by colonel sanders.

The poor Malaysian chicken had to run for his life.
